We’re Back
I’m back!! Yes, after a long absence I have decided to return to blogging at least every other week. The biggest thing is deciding what to talk about. Here are some examples of what you won’t be seeing on my blog:
- Politics — Come on, we are one nation under God and because we live in America, we all have the right to vote and choose our politicians the way we believe. I’m not going to change your mind and you’re not going to change mine, so let’s just leave all the disagreements on Facebook and not here in my personal space.
- Religion — Again, you have a right to your opinion and I have a right to mine. God loves us both.
- Money — I think we can all agree that is none of anyone’s business.We’d all like to have more.
- Sex — Well…I love a good romance, but what happens in my bedroom and your bedroom is our business. So don’t be looking for anything titilating here.
I think that’s all the taboo subjects.
What I do want to talk about is reading and books and plots and how much I love writing. What its like living in a small town in Colorado. The mountains and hiking and the changing seasons. How sometimes a small town is just like it’s portayed in the movies, filled with gossips and funny little quirks.
As I write this, the mountains are about to get their first dusting of snow this weekend and frankly, I can’t wait to see those peaks glistening with the white, powdery stuff.
Plus, I want to hear from you. What you love to read and the changing seasons in your area. I’d love to hear what makes you happy.
It’s my hope that this blog will be a place that is positive, upbeat and you leave with a smile on your face and your heart filled with warmth. This is not the place for life sucking drama, you can get that on any news site.
So leave the drama for the books you’re reading and post a happy message below. Since this is the grand reopening of the blog, there could be a reward for anyone who leaves a message.
