    1. Hi Crystal,
This was our first big vacation in ten years and we went to Ireland. LOVED IT!! The people were so friendly, the country was beautiful and so much history. We did a castle tour. I don’t think we made it to Stewart Castle, but we did the Blarney and stayed at several castles. But, they were older homes that they had converted into hotels. We did a tour through My Ireland Tours, called the Castle Tour and I would book anything from them again. It was a great vacation. Have a wonderful summer and thanks for reading my newsletter.

    1. Hi Juli,
DO IT!!! We just got back from Ireland and all I can say is that it was a wonderful country. It’s beautiful and green and the people are friendly. We did a castle tour and there was so much history. I can’t say enough about how wonderful a trip it was. Of course, we took a tour. You can also rent a car and drive the roads, but some of them were kind of scary. Have a wonderful summer and thanks for reading my newsletter.

    1. Hi Teresa,
I took my son to Hawaii after he graduated high school. The reason was, he wanted ot quit high school and I told him that he could, it was his decision. But his father and I were going to Hawaii and if he graduated, he could go with us. If not, he needed to stay home and get a job. The kid graduated and I’m so proud of him for working hard to get there. Australia is on my bucket list as well. Hawaii was beautiful and I’d love to go back. Have a wonderful summer and thanks for reading my newsletter.

  2. I would go to England. I always wanted to visit there. Thanks for the giveaway opportunity.

    1. Hi Michael,
I’ve been once for only a few days at a writers conference. London was such an old city with so much history. I just loved it. Plus we had no problems getting around on either the buses or the subway. I can’t wait to go back. Have a wonderful summer and thanks for reading my newsletter.

  3. I would really love to go to Iceland. The more I see about the place, it just looks so beautiful and magical.

    1. Hi Jack,
Funny story…I was going to surprise my husband with a trip to Iceland for his birthday back in January. I wanted to see the northern lights and the blue lagoon. Anyway, the day that I’m going to buy the trip, he says to me: “The volcano on Iceland is erupting.” I was shocked. We didn’t go to Iceland this year and I don’t know when we’ll get there, but it’s on my bucket list. Have a great summer and thanks for reading my newsletter.

    1. Hi Anita,
We just got back from Ireland and it’s now one of my favorite places on this earth. It’s beautiful and green and rainy and the people are so friendly. We took a castle tour and it was just wonderful. So much information about how people lived way back then. This was suppose to be our Alaskan Cruise trip, but that didn’t happen, so we decided to go to Ireland. I don’t regret it for one moment. Have a wonderful summer and thanks for reading my newsletter.

  4. I really want to visit Scotland. It’s part of my genes that I would like to know about!! Also I would like to visit Sweden. I have made a friend a few years ago through a book group that lives there.

    1. Hi Yolanda,
My husband’s family is from Scotland and we hope to get there next year. At least that’s our plan. Sweden seems like an interesting country as well. How neat that you became friends with someone who lives there. Thanks for reading my newsletter.

    1. Hi MaryAnn,
Ireland was wonderful and the reason I’m just now responding. I took two weeks off without doing any work. I hadn’t done that in years. Norway seems like such an interesting country and Scotland we’re going next year. My husband’s family is from there and we want to see what we can learn about the McDaniel’s. Thanks for reading my newsletter.

  5. I want to go to Korea to learn about my heritage. I was born in the US and adopted so I know very little!

    1. Hi Lennie,
How interesting. I don’t blame you one bit. Did you read my book that I dedicated to my adopted sister? Secrets of a Summer Place. In it, I tried my best to show how adopted children feel. My sister wanted so much to know about her family. Sadly, she died of a brain aneurysm about five years ago. It could have been hereditary, but we didn’t know. Adoption is wonderful and yet I also know from her side, how she longed to know her heritage. So I completely understand you feeling that way. I hope you get to Korea. Thanks for reading my newsletter.

    1. Hi Janie,
We just got back from Ireland. It’s the reason I’m so late in responding to everyone. It was fabulous. The country is beautiful, the people are friendly and the tour we took (castle tour) was so interesting. We took a tour bus around the island and the only big city we missed was Belfast. But…I’m attending a readers event there next June, so we’ll be going back. Thanks for reading my newsletter.

    1. Hi Melissa,
Hahahaha, I love your response. Best one yet. I’ve never been to Italy and so I don’t know enough about the customs. After our recent trip to Ireland, I’m going to write an Irish romance, but I’m even lost trying to figure that one out. Thanks for reading my newsletter.
