A wonderful, refreshing, delightful book! For once I found a book with a great plot, great characters and a real mystery to add to all of it! I Think there was only one swear word through the entire book. Marian is married to Jean Cuvier who owns a shipping company and he has a partner named Louis. One day, Marian finds Jean dead on the floor, apparently from poisoning. The police arrive and accuse her of killing him. Then two other ladies arrive and claim they are wives of Jean also. So they are all being accused of murder and who gets Jean Cuvier's fortune? Louis wants Marian out of the business so he can invest in a sugar plantation. He does everything to get rid of her but then starts developing feelings for her and her two children. This is where the book takes a turn and the suspense really develops. I will not spoil this so I will leave you to decide what a great story this is! It does have a HEA ending. Enjoy!
